Not a bedroom — the shared drawing room that every guest has the run of. It is the oldest part of the boat and the reason most people photograph the interior rather than the view.
Chandelier, walnut cabinets holding the family's original bone china and samovars, a small library of books left behind by guests over seventy years, and enough seating for everyone aboard.
Kahwa is served here at dusk. In winter the bukhari stays lit all evening.
